Sporting Highlights and Results

The sporting programme began with the Slalom on 19 March. Due to the weather conditions, the race schedule had to be adjusted at short notice, and the Super-G was brought forward to 20 March, while the Giant Slalom took place on 21 March. This marked a true novelty, as for the first time in 30 years the Giant Slalom was held after the Super-G.

The races were defined by strong performances, fair competition and a great atmosphere on the slopes. A special surprise came with the final results, which saw Austria and Germany on the podium as this year’s world champions.
