From 18 to 21 March 2026, around 120 participants from Sweden, Austria, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Poland and Slovenia came together in Mayrhofen for the Ski World Cup 2026. Once again, the event combined sporting ambition with valuable professional and scientific exchange in a unique international setting.
The programme began on 18 March with a dedicated training opportunity, while the Industry Exhibition opened on the same day. A particular highlight followed on 19 March with the Expert Bar Talks, which addressed selected topics from sports medicine and daily practice in a high-quality yet relaxed atmosphere.
On the sporting side, the races were marked by strong performances and a special change in schedule due to the weather conditions. After the Slalom on 19 March, the Super-G was brought forward to 20 March, while the Giant Slalom took place on 21 March — a true novelty, as this was the first time in 30 years that the Giant Slalom was held after the Super-G.
Another memorable highlight was the festive evening at Kulturstadl Reme, which offered a fitting setting for exchange, community and celebration beyond the slopes. A final surprise came with the results, where Austria and Germany stood on the podium as this year’s world champions.
We would like to sincerely thank all participants, partners, exhibitors and supporters who contributed to the success of this year’s event.
